Welcome Back!

Student Council did a phenomenal job last year so I can't wait to see what this council accomplishes!  I'm in the process of getting our meeting schedule updated.  I will have it to you in the next few weeks.

Peace Conference and Unity Rally

We had a wonderful time at the Peace Conference and Unity Rally.  The focus this year was anti-bullying. We broke out in groups to learn how to handle bullies and taunts.  On Friday we listened to an Olympic Athlete talk about how she has overcome bullying in her life then we went to the field to take our positions for the unity picture.  The shape was two kids holding hands, a circle around them, and rays coming out from the circle.  Painted Sky was the bottom right corner ray.  We had a great time and the kiddos were such great representatives of Painted Sky!

Student Council Kick Off Meeting

Don't forget the Kick Off meeting will be held tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the library.  We'll be going over the year and signing up for committees.  I hope to see you there!

The first Student Council Meeting will be on Wednesday, the 29 at 3:15, in room 19.  Executive Council will meet at 8:00 a.m. as well.

Welcome to Student Council!

I'm so excited to be the Student Council advisor this year! We're going to have a great year full of adventure!

This week the 3-5 grade classes will be electing their classroom representatives. I'll be meeting with the Executive Board and Senators too. The Student Council Kick Off Meeting will be held in the library on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is for Student Council members and their parents. We will be reviewing the year and signing up for committees.
